Virgin Unite

The 2007 V Festival shows donated $1 from every ticket sold to Virgin Unite, the charitable arm of the Virgin Group. But instead of keeping anything for themselves, Virgin Unite went looking the 5 most innovative and worthy social programs who rely on funding to survive. in 2008 we plan to allow you to luxuriate in the warm fuzzy feeling of doing good by default by once again donating $1 from every ticket sold.

Here's a rundown of where the cash went:

Donation #1 - $13k

ActNow makes you smarter! V Festival’s lead charity partner www.actnow.com.au is an awesome Australian initiative for young people that informs you on issues affecting you and your world. In 2007, V Festival helped introduce the newly launched ActNow to an audience of over 55,000 in addition to a donation of more than $13,000.
