WELCOME TO V FESTIVAL 2009!

30.11.08
Words by V Festival

So hey, here we are. Three years down the track from the inaugural V Festival in Australia and on the brink of V Festival 2009. The date is hooning towards us and we couldn't be more psyched!

Welcome to our new digs, a brand spankers new website that has seen many sleepless nights and countless cups of coffee working towards completion ... but all for a good cause. This www will be your directory to all the up to date goodness that V Festival has to offer.

In our tireless effort to please, we've made sure all the bells and whistles are in place. You can check out the latest buzz from the frontlines, help yourself to a chunky serving of videos, music and photos, get the low-down on the line-up as well as all the info you'll need on the festival itself including tickets, times, maps and more. Peruse as you please.

As V Festival creeps closer, get elbows deep what we've got an offer and keep hitting us up for updates.

We also welcome your comments, commotion and even criticism, if you feel a slam coming on we aren't going to stop you but we always prefer some props. So, without further fluffing about, let loose, let us have it and enjoy your new playground.

With love, always and forever, your beloved V keepers.

Sad to see V seems to have moved away from the fist two festivals were all about....differentiating yourselves by appealing to a more mature demographic. With vintage acts like The Pixies, Beck, Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran and of course the fabulous Smashing Pumpkins....the first two festivals were simply awesome.
Oh well....it was great while it lasted.

First announcement already has a bunch of acts that would headline your average festival, any one got any idea about second announcement? Rumours?

Has to be My Bloody Valentine. Or Spinal Tap. Yeah?
