With their debut album done and dusted, The Temper Trap plough plectrum first into their new single, Sweet Disposition. An enchanting moment of pop elegance that rings with U2-style grandeur, Sweet Disposition is a sparkling stadium-rock song that has launched the Melbourne lads back into the limelight.

Alaskan-based DJ and producer, Curtis Vodka is known for his dancefloor-friendly, genre-spanning spins remixing tracks from artists like Bjork, Silversun Pickups and Kid Sister. However, his touch up of The Temper Trap's newun transforms the track from an arching anthem into an epic eight-minute masterpiece that toys with rhythm and texture. The shimmering synth, gentle double-time drums and ethereal vocals transcend space and time.

The Temper Trap pressed a limited edition 12" slab that featured the original Sweet Disposition and rubs by Curtis Vodka and Pocketknife (Spank Rock, David Bowie, Feist, Sufjan Stevens). If you're lucky you might find it kicking around somewhere still. (Or better yet have a listen below).
