The Scottish (slash Irish) sweethearts, Snow Patrol did it for Mother Nature at Live Earth last year, performing their breakthrough single Chasing Cars in an attempt to promote awareness about Climate Change. Chasing Cars is a beautiful ballad that bursts to life with lush vocals and sweeping chords, a tear-jerking single from 2006's Eyes Open. They brought almost five million viewers and an audience of thousands to a standstill with the heart-wrencher at Wembley Stadium, a moment that many will cherish forever.
